Trap and Skeets

Trap and Skeet Shooting club, Kerala Police Academy is a prestigious venture of Kerala Police situated in the vast and green campus of Kerala Police Academy at Ramavarmapuram, Thrissur. It has state-of-the-art devices from ‘Laporte, France’, one of the world’s leading producers of Trap and Skeet systems for sports. The shooting range is equipped with Olympic standard types of equipment used during the 2015 National Games. The membership facility is open for both public and department personnel. The members are provided with the facility to practice trap & skeet shooting as per the norms of the club. The club has two types of membership- official and non-official. At present practice is done on Sundays only. Clay pigeons (target) and 12 bore cartridges are issued to members at the range of subsidized rates.
